ChícPet was inspired by the very beautiful, ultra hip and super sexy Delilah. Deliliah's parents, Lisa and Lou Skoby, started out in search for the perfect tag for their miniature pincher. Their quest took them from Beverly Hills to Honolulu, until finally realizing that what they were looking for simply did not exist. Luckily, being fine jewelers by trade for over a decade, they were able to design and create exactly what they envisioned, a hip, high-quality .925 Sterling silver pendant for their original ChícPet, Delilah. Little did they know at the time, they also created a very high-demand, unique niche that bridged the gap from animal accessories to high-end fashion jewerly for pets and their owners.

VOILA! The ChícPet line was born! Since its inception in the summer of 2002, everyone's been asking about Delilah's Sterling silver piece. The Skobys found themselves taking orders for their Sterling silver pet jewerly and Italian made accessories every time they went out. Next thing they knew, everyone was ChícPet--from Jullian Barberie, Pamela Anderson, Salma Hayek, Angelica Houston, Charlize Theron, Hillary Swank, Ed Norton, Ben Stiller, Chyna Phillips, Rikki Rockett, William Baldwin, Linda Blair, to Animal Planet host Aileen Avery. Before long, the queen of television herself, Oprah had ChícPet engraved dog tags for her cocker spaniels.

ChícPet knows its not only about looking stylish, but being actively involved in, and supporting charity organizations in the Los Angeles community, including Last Chance for Animals, Pet Orphans Adoptions, Best Friends Sanctuary, New Leash on Life, Pet Adoption Fund, Pals 2 Pets, and The American Cancer Society, just to name a few.

ChícPet caught the eye of celebrity pet photographer and author, Chris Amerouso ("Celebrities and Their Pets," "Bark at the Moon-the Osbourne's Pets") for his dog Stella. ChícPet is also a proud sponsor of "Pets and their Stars" a 2004 calendar with all proceeds to be donated to Last Chance for Animals. ChícPet is spreading like wildfire and can now be found in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington
